Meet Sabine
Bellew, (say it like sah-bee-nah) who joined the New Orleans Catering team in
2011 after a long and reputable career at some of the city's most established
venues. Originally from England, Sabine fell in love with New Orleans when she
moved here in 1994. With more than fifteen years of experience planning events
for groups ranging from 25 people to 6,000, Sabine makes every event a personal
and unique occasion.
Every client has different needs and visions. I enjoy fulfilling their expectations and feel great satisfaction when receiving their feedback after the event.
When you’re not busy working, what are your favorite things to do in New Orleans?
I love being outside and the climate here enables outdoor activity - bike riding in the park, hanging out with my 8 year-old son at the Zoo and attending the many outdoor concerts and festivals that our City hosts.
What is your favorite food?
Seafood and comfort food. New Orleans and our Southern regional cuisine offers the best of both worlds.
What is the most memorable event you’ve planned?
There have been quite a few! Our company has catered events to former presidents and many important clients but the Superbowl events we catered this year were very special. To see so many of Hollywood's finest actors, celebrities and sports heroes enjoying our food was amazing!

I find New Orleans to be a very atmospheric place to visit. It evokes a feeling of blues and jazz and the vibe of mardi gras. It’s nice to know that you are able to infuse your catering service and dishes with your personal touch. Hearing feedback (good or bad) is something we can always look forward to. The pictures you posted make me feel very sentimental and nostalgic about New Orleans and its unique palate!
